WordPress Training Durham Review

28th February saw anotheer successful Learn WordPress in a Day WordPress training workshop held at Moor Chambers at Framwellgate Moor Durham. Moor Chambers is a newly refurbished serviced office complex operated by The Office Co. Moor Chambers is tucked away behind the main street in Framwellgate Moor but it’s a good central location with ample free parking, good transport links and superb modern facilities as can be seen in the photo on this page.

This session had a mix of truly interesting delegates from a diverse mix of business and educational backgrounds.

Gerry’s training was just what I was looking for in order to gain a quick handle on using wordpress. The one day course was highly informative and I particularly appreciated the hands-on experience of being able to go through the various functionalities of wordpress and create a website from scratch.

I found Gerry very approachable and enjoyed the relaxed, yet focussed, environment he created. As a result of the course, I am now confident in using wordpress.

Amy O’Neill works at the University of Leeds as a project assistant for TALISMAN – a project focused on developing and extending state-of-the-art geospatial methods.  As a member of the TALISMAN team, Amy is responsible for coordinating activities between researchers at the University of Leeds and University College London, and staff at the National Centre for Research Methods in Southampton. Her key responsibilities include managing the project’s extensive training and capacity-building activities, as well as marketing and promoting the project throughout the UK.  Amy maintains the TALISMAN website and provides both research and administrative support to the project team.

Thanks for yesterday. I really enjoyed the day, I found it to be very relaxed and informative.  Hopefully now I will be able to set up and manage a nice new website for Heating Components. I think it’s great that you have use of the online portal for 1 month, I will certainly make use of this. Thank you!

I have worked for Heating Components for 20 years now, I basically cover a few different roless which include Credit Control and the up keep of pricing on our system and now I’m looking forward to getting the new company website up and running.
